Ladbrokes delivers new digital platform thanks to Amsphere

Ladbrokes delivers new single digital platform in double-quick time thanks to Amsphere's integrated assurance and testing services.

29th July 2015

Ladbrokes has released its new digital Sportsbook platform and seeks to position the firm as the industry leader. This latest significant digital move focuses on combining its sportsbook roadmap and development into a single work-stream with one front-end technology provider (Mobenga), deployed across web, mobile, tablet and other devices.

To make sure Ladbrokes' new digital platform was delivered successfully, Amsphere provided independent testing services. Amsphere’s proposition was to migrate and enhance the current mobile offering to the desktop thereby improving the user experience and replacing of the current eComm and Classic websites.

Dipen Nagda, Head of Digital Product for Ladbrokes said:  “We set out to deliver a high-quality sportsbook in just 8 months and Amsphere were key in helping us achieve that ambition. We wanted to provide the quickest and easiest digital customer experience within the betting industry and our key partners played their roles well in getting us there. Ladbrokes now has a platform with an adaptive approach which allows our customers to enjoy a first-rate digital experience."

Amsphere’s Chief Executive Officer, Ricky Shankar said: “The new sports book digital Platform has been launched with a view to growing the Ladbrokes digital business as a whole. Desktop continues to be an important digital platform and the idea was to share the technology and the success experienced with the sports mobile app with the desktop platform. This was a critical step needed to be market competitive across all channels. Amsphere were delighted to work alongside Ladbrokes to ensure this project was a success."
